Enchanting Edwardian moonstone and diamond earrings, fit for a queen. Clusters of silvery moonstone haloed by dazzling old European cut diamonds dangle from a vertical bar of diamond-set gold. Each cluster centers an oval moonstone cabochon. Nine diamonds form each halo, all prong set in 18k gold. The earring tops are each bead set with three more diamonds. Open back settings allow plenty of light to pass through the gemstones. Lever back wires provide comfort and security. Moonstones cast a magical glamour, and lots of sparkling diamonds only enhance their mesmeric effect. Circa 1900.

Gem Details.....One moonstone weighs 1.35ct, the other weighs 1.29ct. They are eye-clean, transparent with silvery white color. The old European cut diamonds have a total weight of 4.33 carats, with SI clarity and H-J color.

Details..... The earrings are 1.17" long and the clusters measure 0.50" wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
